Hello Veteran Service Organizations,
My name is Joshua Zebley, I am the new Contra Costa County Veterans Service Officer.
It is my pleasure to personally invite you to the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors Veterans Day Celebration.
This year we will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the major withdrawal of troops from Vietnam.
The keynote speaker for the event will be United States Army Veteran Captain James Hill. Mr. Hill is the Vice President of the Vietnam Veterans of Diablo Valley. Additionally, there will be an exhibit of photos taken by Veteran Steven Burchik during his time serving in Vietnam.
The event is 11am-12pm on Tuesday, November 7th in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at 1025 Escobar Street, Martinez. Coffee and donuts will be provided prior to the event and lunch will be provided immediately following the event.
