Contra Costa County’s Board of Supervisors honors Veterans & their families at the Annual Veterans Day Celebration on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Board Chambers at 1025 Escobar Street, Martinez 94553.
The upcoming Annual Veterans Day Ceremony holds special significance, as it will include a tribute honoring the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, a conflict that greatly affected American society and the lives of millions. The ceremony serves as a timely reminder of that turbulent period in our history and the lasting effects on the veterans who fought in that war.
The ceremony will also be broadcast live online at www.contracostatv.org or on Contra Costa Television channels: Comcast Channel 27, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and Astound Channels 32 and 1027.
This is a free event and no RSVP is necessary. There will be refreshments available before the event and a light lunch afterward, so arrive early and enjoy the comradery. Parking will also be free and someone from the county will be there to help direct traffic/parking. One note of caution, the event will be held inside the CCC Building and you will be passing through their security checkpoint! Just treat it like the airport...
